Space X’s Dragon launch… is go! (update: aborted)
We’re crossing our fingers and toes so hard we can barely type and walk, since it looks like the oft-delayed Dragon launch will take place tomorrow. SpaceX founder Elon Musk confirmed that the company had passed final launch review with NASA and that everything was set for the Falcon 9 to lift off at 4:15AM ET on May 19th.

‘Tis the season for major Android app remakes , this time with Evernote going for a much appreciated adaptation to a more swipe-friendly universe. The 4.0 update of the note-taking app has a new home screen that lets you swipe out a hidden menu to get to your notes without having to always jump backwards — one of our pet peeves. Much of the overall navigation now leans towards swipes over buttons, and the list views for notes and notebooks are a good deal simpler.

Kobo is the underdog trying to scrape points while the e-reader heavy hitters of Amazon and B&N duke it out. The Vox was the Canadian outfits response to the Nook and Kindle Fire , but despite a similar price tag, our e-reader expert found that its last-generation hardware was no match for the big boys.

Acer Liquid Glow hits the FCC, keeps its secrets
Acer’s Liquid series phones only occasionally reach the FCC , so it’s with some surprise that we’ve just spotted the still-fresh Liquid Glow getting the US agency’s approval under its E330 model name. Details are scarce as to whether or not there’s been any changes made to the Android 4.0 phone on its way out of Taiwan, however: there’s no telltale signs like cellular frequencies or carrier badging.
